Vernon Reid invites you to celebrate the past, present, and future of rock with the launch of a new musical series, "Stark, Raving, Sane," highlighting upcoming stars in the rock and alternative genres

The dramatic intensity of Tamar-kali's music enchants you with its melody, while delivering a swift kick to the gut with its incisive emotional core. As a composer and vocalist she has defied boundaries and blended styles to craft her own unique sound. A 2nd generation musician with roots on the coastal islands of the Carolinas, Tamar-kali speaks her lyrical truth with a supreme passion and a voice that will shatter your expectations with its soulful intensity.

The uninitiated may have discovered Tamar-kali through her appearance in Focus Features' award winning film Pariah,with clips of an incendiary performanceand contributions to the soundtrack providing a glimpse of her unsung talent. Her versatility has allowed her to share stages with a diverse list of artists from Paramore, John Legend, and Cassandra Wilson to Me'shell Ndegeocello and the Roots.

Psychochamber Ensemble
This 'Heart & Bones' project is a haunting and mesmerizing look right into the soul of an artist . Psychochamber Ensemble presents deconstructed versions of songs from Tamar-kali's 5 piece project and pieces arranged and composed specifically for strings.

After Party at 10:30: Living Colour's 'Vivid' 25th Anniversary Celebration

Living Colour came onto the music scene in 1984 as a unique black rock band playing to truly diverse audiences with their stylistic fusion of free jazz, funk, hip hop, hard rock and heavy metal. In 1988, their Grammy Award winning debut album "Vivid", went on to break a number of barriers in the industry, and as a part of the Black Rock Coalition, went on to create a revered catalogue of music which they performed in the most famous venues around the world. The band won a Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance for one of its many hits, The Cult of Personality. They were also named Best New Artist at the 1989 Video Music Awards and was rated one of VH1's 100 Greatest Hard Rock bands ever.

More than two decades later, Living Colour is still a global musical force. Come celebrate the 25th Anniversary of 'Vivid' with Living Colour and DJ Rampage Global directly following the 8:30 performance Show patrons guaranteed entry.
