You know Corey Glover's powerful voice. Corey is the lead singer and one fourth of the pioneering, Grammy winning, platinum selling rock band Living Colour. The steps Corey took to reach this point in his career are well known. As a founding member of Living Colour, Corey helped prove that not only could black guys kick out the jams, but that they could be embraced by a vast expanse of fans. Living Colour earned numerous industry awards including back-to-back Grammys for Best Hard Rock Performance of 1989 ('Cult of Personality') and 1990 (Time's Up) and emerged as one of the most influential rock acts of all time: regularly selling out arenas and selling millions of albums. As vocal proponents for black self-reliance and pride, they broke down more than their fair share of musical barriers and served as role models for other black bands who had their sights set on hard rock recognition.

But that is only a portion of his musical journey to date. In 1998, Corey released his debut solo record, Hymns, to much critical acclaim. He's been featured on records around the world as a premier vocalist, acted in motion pictures including the 1986 Best Picture Platoon, performed theatrically onstage in such shows as Jesus Christ Superstar and toured extensively with funk-rock legends, Galactic.

Corey describes his music away from Living Colour; "I always wanted to do rock stuff and I did. But I've always wanted to be a loveman and sort of split the difference. I think I've done that with this album (Hymns) and with this band."

The level of performance Corey Glover delivers with this solo effort is unmatched and inspirational; it's sure to entertain you and leave you feeling good.

“Corey Glover has never sounded in such great voice, his fine balance of fiery howl and sugared croon, giving the group their powerful Hard Rock heft..." - BBC

“Glover mixes cool crooning with some of the old raging sound he is famous for, to create an eclectic blend of music." - CNN

Growing up in Hopewell, New Jersey, Danielia Cotton stood out. Danielia's natural gift - raw, searing vocal chops combined with a deep, buttery tone - draws from the two different traditions she absorbed early in her youth. On the one hand, she couldn't get enough of AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones. On the other hand, she was her mother's girl: daughter of a jazz singer and member of the church gospel choir, grooving to Mavis Staples, Etta James, Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald.

The happy collision of these two traditions blossomed into a successful and acclaimed music career. Danielia's 2009 disc, Live Child - a companion piece to her 2008 studio album Rare Child - won Best Live Album in the 2009 Independent Music Awards. Danielia has toured with Lilith Fair, BB King, Heart, Robert Cray and many of rock's biggest names. And, Danielia relishes her independence as well as her eclecticism.

Danielia Cotton's sound is a savory dig in the early '70s, when the twin powers of rock and soul came together to form a harmonious funk that satisfied the spirit as it thrilled with slashing electric guitars. As a singer and arranger, Cotton has a refreshingly uncluttered style. Cotton brings a freshness to the soul-rock formula, not to mention a contagious fever that is near irresistible.

“... an honest-to-God voice with real power, conviction, emotion and soul.” — Boston Herald

“Cotton's raspy holler atop such tightly messy hard rock is genuinely funky stuff, like a cross between Thin Lizzy and Sly Stone” — Chicago Tribune
