Gentlemen, please, not another European trip with no UK shows. How about one in London, at least?

it's really up to the club owners and promoters in the uk and everywhere in the world.

Original commenter here: well, whatever. Four years ago, after a couple of European tours with no UK shows, I was gwtting pissed off with it and went to Amsterdam for the weekend and the Paradiso show; this was the tour with Doug Pinnick instead of Corey, "Living Colour Special Edition", as Vernon called it. With no UK shows again, I'd love to do the same thing, but right now it's tough to justify financially, so that won't happen.

according to this, they played the UK last December 2009.

Dec 3 - Tunnels - Bristol, UK
Dec 4 - The Globe - Cardiff, UK
Dec 5 - Robin 2 - Wolverhampton, UK
Dec 6 - Garage - London, UK

and November 2007

That's right. Last December, they did play those four shows, and I went to two - Bristol and London. And yes, they also played here in 2007 and 2008 - each time a single show in the UK, at the Jazz Cafe in London, and I was at both of them.

But that's nothing to do with the point I was making, which you appear to have missed. Four years ago, when I made the Amsterdam trip, they'd missed out the UK for at least the previous two European visits, so I went. This time round we're not getting a single show again.

and here in St. Louis, MO - US, they've YET to stop... what's your point? They've missed us many times! And I understand it's the economy and promoters and radio time and all that BS... you had the opportunity to see them multiple times... ME...none.

"you had the opportunity to see them multiple times... ME...none."

You're kidding! I am well aware that the US is a big area, but why don't you do what I did, and get on a plane?

I'm not asking the band to come and play in my front room or local pub (which would be nice), but a single show in the country where I live would do. And I believe over the years LC have played a fair number of shows in their - and your - home country.

ah, ignorance....
LC didn't play anywhere in my area. Unfortunately, some of us are not in the densely populated parts of the world like London; alas, we all can't afford to hop a plane to see them or any "form" of LC, yet you bitch n moan about seeing them w/ King's X singer instead...

and they have played countless shows "in my country" yet have not come through this area in quite some time... however, someday, hope to see them again if they roll through, in ANY incarnation...

What are you on about?! I wasn't at all "bitching" or "moaning" about it being Doug Pinnick rather than Corey in Amsterdam, I mentioned it purely because that was the lineup. Try actually reading that post again properly - it's a statement of fact of who played, not any form of complaint.

Save up a bit of pocket money, and do what most of us have done over the years - if the band (any band you really want to see) isn't coming to you, take the time, make the effort, and pay the money to go to them.

Anyway, that's enough of this pointless nonsense. Feel free to rant away into the ether.
